8vo. 3 vols. xvii + (1) + 322pp, portrait frontispiece ; (2) + iv + 324pp ; (2) + v + (1) + 403 + (1)pp ; each with many woodcut text ills. Publisher’s cloth. Sellotape repair to front free endpaper of first volume. Ink ownership inscription of Stephen Jones (with a note “Stephen Jones donated this book to be auctioned at Sothebys on 29.x.1986 in aid of All Saints Haley Hill”). Jill Allibone’s copy, with her bookplates.

The final and fullest version of Bloxam's manual on Gothic architecture. The first volume more or less coincides with Bloxam's earlier versions, but for this edition he adds two further volumes, dealing respectively with the internal arrangements of churches and monasteries, and with vestments and funeral monuments.
