A handsome selection of plates illustrating recently designed Parisian shop fronts, all by named architects or decorative designers (Bagge, M. Dufet, Francis Jourdain, Ludwig, Pacheco, etc). The volume's large format, and its inclusion both of coloured plates and of measured drawings, make it rather more impressive than similar publications of the period, and some of the shop fronts foreshadow the transition from Art Nouveau to the Art Deco style which was to emerge after the 1914-18 war.
