8vo. xxxii + 616pp, (12) engravedplates (3 of which folding), engraved table. Contemporary full calf, gilt spine, one corner slightly bumped, rubbed at extremities & chipped at head & foot of spine. Some light browning.
A revised and greatly enlarged edition of this well-known text book on the costing of building work by the Parisian architect Pierre Bullet (1639-1716), first published in 1691. This edition incorporates revisions made in the eighteenth century by the Parisian architect Descoutures. See BAL Cat 491 (1732 edition).
