For this exhibition, held in Hagley Park, Christchurch, New Zealand, the British organising committee sent out a good selection of oil paintings, watercolours, sculptures, and so on, including an unusually extensive range of objects designed by members of the Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society (Walter Crane, the Society’s then President, had been responsible for the design of a decorative frieze in the British exhibition galleries, and there was considerable Arts and Crafts involvement in the exhibits chosen). All are listed and the best are illustrated in this carefully compiled catalogue.
