The merit of this illustrated brochure produced for the organisers of the Spanish-American exhibition at Seville in 1929 is that it provides photographic illustrations of the principal exhibition buildings and of the exteriors of all the individual exhibition pavilions (one for each participating country in Latin America, and others for the USA, for Portugal and for the various regions of Spain). The architect of each building and pavilion is named (William Templeton designed the US pavilion in an elegant Spanish Colonial style, and although 1929 was too early in Spain for any overtly modernist design, the various Latin American pavilions vary considerably in architectural treatment).
