The second of two monographs in this series devoted to the architectural work of Ludwig Hoffmann, Berlin's city architect. It shows the vast range of his architectural output, extending from the neo-Gothic Märkisches Museum and the neo-baroque Neue Stadthaus to a variety of school buildings in more conventional early twentieth century classical idioms, as well as fire stations and the impressive administration building for the city's gas supply.
