Folio. (12)pp introductory text, photogravure portrait frontispiece, (134)pp containing facsimile photo reprints of the engraved preliminary leaves and 40 engraved plates of Loggan’s book of 1690, with accompanying explanatory text on facing leaves. Publisher’s quarter cloth, printed paper boards. Sir Howard Colvin’s copy, with his ownership inscription.

A good facsimile reprint of Loggan’s celebrated series of engraved views of the buildings of the University of Cambridge, made particularly useful by added introductory text and detailed comments on each of the views by John Willis Clark, the historian of Cambridge architecture.
