Folio. 3 vols. viii + 350pp ; viii + 384pp ; viii + 376pp. Each vol. has a colour frontispiece, colour plates and hundreds of photo ills. Publisher's cloth, in original dustwrappers. From a limited numbered edition of 1000 sets.

Good facsimile reprint of what has remained the most complete and most extensively illustrated dictionary of English furniture up to 1830. When originally published in 1927, it was a collaborative undertaking by Macquoid and Edwards, with assistance from other identified contributors, but this 1954 edition was essentially the work of Edwards alone.
