A pocket guide intended for the collector of engraved portraits of famous and not-so-famous persons in British history, literature and society. Its author, John Morris Flindall (1775-1841), was at that time a print dealer, with premises in Lambeth, but was subsequently to emigrate to Ontario, Canada.
