These two periodicals, issued in succession by the Kongelige Nordiske Oldskrift-Selskab (Royal Society of Nordic Antiquities of Copenhagen), and both all published under these particular titles, cover all antiquities and antiquarian objects discovered in Scandinavian countries or held in Scandinavian collectionss. Unexpectedly, the final two volumes of the Antiquarisk Tidskrift are largely devoted to early American topics.
