A well-produced tribute to William Emerson (1873-1957), Dean of the School of Architecture of MIT from 1919 to 1939, by his former students and friends, including the architects Louis Skidmore and John O. Merrill and the artist Samuel Chamberlain, who contributed a drypoint etching of the Rogers Building at MIT to the volume.
