A set of measured illustrations of this fine 13th century Northamptonshire church in the Early English style, published “for the purpose of drawing attention to its great variety of excellent detail”. William Caveler is otherwise known from his Select Specimens of Gothic Architecture, published in 1835-6, and showing the same very accurate draughtsmanship, but his career as a practising architect remains obscure (see Colvin). NUC lists only three copies in North American libraries.
