Well-illustrated monograph on the Danish Modern Movement architect Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971), issued just at the time that his design for St.Catherine’s College, Oxford, was winning him international recognition (his design still had to be built but is represented here by photographs of his model of the intended college buildings). The book was a joint publication with the German publisher Gerd Hatje in Stuttgart and has parallel German and English text.
