Only a little book, but interesting as an effort to provide a published record of buildings that it was feared might be damaged or destroyed during the war. Wearing (ARIBA 1907, FRIBA 1926) was an accomplished architectural draughtsman, and the text is peppered with his observations on the complexities of sketching some of the buildings.
