Subsequently Brian Housden’s copy, with an enclosed invoice to him from the Erasmus firm of antiquarian booksellers, Amsterdam, April 1960.
First edition. Here Berlage expresses his opinions on architecture generally, on architecture in relation to the Brussels Exhibition of 1910, on town planning, on building in brick, and so on. The volume includes illustrations by Johan Briedé based on Berlage’s own drawings of his recent architectural commissions.
