Catalogue of a collection of Italian sculpture and of other plastic art of the renaissance.
London, privately printed for the Burlington Fine Arts Club 1913.
Folio. xx + 143 + (1)pp, 69 collotype photo plates. Orig cloth.
A very well produced catalogue of an exhibition of sculptured reliefs, busts, bronzes, medals and plaquettes of the Italian renaissance period, all from private British collections. The catalogue entries were carefully compiled by Sir Eric Maclagan, Sir George Hill and C.F.Bell, and it is particularly valuable as a record of the smaller bronzes, medals and plaquettes, drawn from the collections of such now forgotten connoisseurs as Henry Oppenheimer, Maurice Rosenheim and Thomas Whitcombe Greene.
