First edition. The best contemporary monograph devoted to Mendelsohn’s architectural output between 1914 and 1929, with his executed and unexecuted projects very well illustrated by photos, plans and reproductions of his design sketches. The volume also reprints essays by him dating from 1919 and 1923 setting out his architectural philosophy.
