Photographic plates reproducing designs by members of the Galli-Bibiena family and their associates relating to projects in Vienna, including the Hoftheater designed for the Emperor Leopold I. The drawings are mostly by Antonio and Giuseppe Galli Bibiena as well as Lodovico Burnacini and the costume designer A.D. Bertoli. The plates are accompanied by notes on the family, a list of documents relating to the family in the Austrian National Library and a comprehensive list of scenographic work carried out by members of the family for the Vienna court opera.
