Eero Saarinen (1910-61), Eliel’s son, died at the height of his powers with ten of his major buildings unfinished, and this posthumous compilation by his widow records his opinions on each of his most important commissions. It first appeared in 1962 but was updated for this edition with photographs of the buildings as completed.
