Not much about the house itself (a big, dull building erected in the late 1790s to designs probably by the local architect Anthony Keck), but more interesting about how its surrounding garden has been replanned in recent years for the Prince of Wales, with attractive photo illustrations of the garden and grounds. Those interested in land management and nature conservation on organic principles will no doubt find the book rewarding.
