4to. Publisher’s cloth, faded at extremities. Internally with a slight fold down the middle of the pages, evidently made before the volume was bound. Previously in the Royal Dublin Society’s library, with their circular stamp on front free endpaper, verso of title and recto of two text pages. Roderick Gradidge’s copy.

The first volume of the RIBA Proceedings, which in 1894 became the RIBA Journal, with papers by Hugh Stannus on St. Paul’s Cathedral, Laurence Harvey on Semper’s theory of evolution in architectural ornament, Maurice B. Adams on architectural drawing, with a list of the drawings in an accompanying exhibition, Ralph Nevill on roof coverings, and so on.
