Issued to accompany an exhibition at Schloss Babelsberg held in July-October 2003. Ludwig Persius (1803-1845), an able pupil of Schinkel, is chiefly notable as the designer of residences in Italianate classical style for King Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia and for other members of the Prussian Royal Family.
