Large folio. 8pp, 24 engraved plates, all but 1 of which colour. Publisher’s cloth-backed decorative board portfolio, worn at extremities with minor tears and fraying to lower edge of portfolio. Text and some plates slightly creased at upper left-hand corner. Light spotting to title, very occasional light foxing to plates, generally clean and fresh.
A scarce and handsome Slovenian publication providing contemporary designs to scale for wooden furniture (tables, chairs and bedsteads) and details for interior church decoration with painted motifs drawn from the artistic heritage of different regions of the country, with introductory text by Prof. O. Grebenc. We have not seen or handled a copy of this publication other than the present one, nor can we trace a copy in any of the major libraries.
