8vo. 204pp, incl mounted colour frontispiece and (62) photo plates. Publisher’s pictorial cloth, wrinkled at outer corners and the upper cover slightly soiled. Ink ownership inscription of Cyril Cryan, 1920, and a long presentation inscription from Harriet H.Jolliffe on the blank recto of the frontispiece, noting that the Exposition “has been a great success and we miss it dreadfully”.

An excellent summary account of the Panama-Pacific Exposition held in San Francisco between February and December 1915, describing and illustrating the site, the principal exhibition halls, the exhibits, the twenty-one foreign pavilions, and so on.
