Guinness, founder and then President of the Irish Georgian Society, gives an illustrated architectural tour of some of Dublin’s finest buildings, many of which had previously been overlooked by architectural historians. We find here not only the more familiar Trinity College and St Patrick’s Cathedral but also bridges, houses, fountains, and a chapter on the plasterwork of Dublin buildings, with some excellent examples of the Irish school.
