Full Description

8vo. (8) + 358pp, 8 photo plates. Publisher’s cloth, a little bumped at head of spine, but otherwise a good, clean copy. From the library of the Redemptorist monastery at Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire (closed in 1990), with their ownership stamp on inside front cover but no other library markings.

A sympathetic study of the younger Pugin which places him more securely in his Roman Catholic context than the nineteenth-century biography by Ferrey.
