First and only edition (and a scarce book, not in BAL Cat). A treatise on the design and construction of farm houses and their associated buildings, written by Florido Galli, an architect based in Pisa, Tuscany, who was later to become Professor of Geometry, Civil Architecture and Perspective at the Academia di Belle Arti, Pisa. It provides guidance on the planning and construction of farm houses, with informed comments on a wide range of possible building materials, and ends with detailed costings.
