Style in architecture.
London, Thomas Nelson & Sons Ltd (1945).
Small 8vo. 204pp, 8 photo plates carrying 14 ills. Publisher’s cloth, slightly worn. Brian Housden’s copy.
Reissue of a book first published in April 1940. The author writes from a position of general sympathy with the aims of the international modern movement in architecture (although his own personal favourite among European architects of the time seems to have been Dudok rather than Gropius or Le Corbusier).
