The consulting architect : practical notes on administrative difficulties and disputes.
London, John Murray 1886.
8vo. xv + (1) + 313 + (1)pp. Publisher’s cloth, worn and weak at hinges. Gavin Stamp’s copy, with his bookplate.
Much good practical advice for architects on possible legal and contractual problems that may confront them. The most interesting section is that dealing with “architects’ disputes and etiquette”, where Kerr sets out more explicitly than in any other publication of this date the then accepted conventions of professional etiquette.
