An edited reissue by Sugden and Entwisle, the twentieth century British historians of wallpaper, of two interesting lectures on this subject by John Gregory Crace (1809-1889), head of the famous Crace firm of interior decorators founded in 1768. The present volume was evidently issued for private circulation to mark the centenary of the delivery of these lectures to the RIBA.
