Full Description
8vo. 144pp, numerous photo ills. Publisher’s decorative cloth, slightly soiled.
A well-illustrated and appropriately carefully designed little book, now scarce (the contents page lists the manufacturer of the paper and plates, the designer of the typography, the binder and so on). Mercer picks up on ideas originally imported from the Continent but neglected during the war, with the Americans now very much seen as the leaders in the field of industrial design.
