Full Description

8vo. 156pp, 7 text ills. Publisher’s cloth, worn at spine and outer corners. Roderick Gradidge’s copy, with his ownership inscription dated 1949 and his bookplate (the bookplate inexpertly glued by him to face the volume’s title leaf). A few pencil markings.

The author argues that the “Reilly plan” (a scheme drawn up by the distinguished urban planner Sir Charles Reilly for housing development on a 350-acre site in Birkenhead, Cheshire) should act as a blueprint for future planning generally.
