A rare pamphlet by the Portuguese scholar and art historian Antonio Damaso de Castro e Souza (1804-1876), offering a brief but properly documented account of the life of Francisco de Hollanda, based on his surviving writings. The author dedicated it to Count Raczynski, at that time Prussian Ambassador to Portugal.
