An unfamiliar volume of designs of the late 1920s for holiday villas at various sites in France, including a distinctive group designed in a cheerful seaside style by the architect Adrien Grave for the resort of Le Baule on the Breton coast, and rather more sophisticated villas designed by Charles Siclis (1889-1942) for clients at Biarritz and Arcachon.
