This combines separate brief histories of Westminster Abbey (by Perkins) and of St.Paul’s (by Bumpus). Perkins concentrates on the abbey’s history rather than on its fabric, but Bumpus’s account of St. Paul’s is crammed with interesting detail about the cathedral building and its furnishings, and should be better known.
