Oblong small folio. (4)pp, 10 woodcut plates of ornament. Preserved in board folder. No ownership inscription, but Wolfgang Herrmann’s copy.
A suite of intricate ornamental designs by the graphic artist Marcus Behmer (who says in his accompanying text that he had used a related pattern when designing the German 10 Mark banknote in 1919). These plates were published in an obviously very limited number of copies for the Friends of the Staatliche Kunstbibliothek in Berlin. One copy in NUC (Fine Arts Library, Harvard Univ).
